Good morning! Welcome to another beautiful Sunday with Cupcake Inspirations. Today, the theme is Sparkle.
I took a minimalistic approach to this, which is weird for me when it comes to sparkle. I do love me some Stickles. We do have an awesome sponsor today…
The winner from this week’s challenge will receive 2 images from 2 cute ink! They even let us play with some of their new cupcake images and they are adorable. Here is what I did!
First of all, I used 2 Cute Ink’s Cupcake Bunny digi stamp for this card. I colored him in with my Copic Ciaos. To give it a little sparkle. I used Fruit Punch Stickles on the cherry, sprinkles and even his nose. The paper was about 2 hours old when I made this card. My hubby and I needed to stock up on groceries, so we headed to Wal-mart and I had to get another pack of KI paper by Hampton Art. This one is called Doilies. I love it. It is double sided and heavy, which is awesome. I got Autumn flowers the last time I was there. I think it will be tradition now that I buy a pack every time I go shopping. In about 4 trips, I will have every pack. The great part is they are only $3.97 for 32 sheets of 6 x 6 double sided cardstock. I think that is a pretty good deal! I added the little flower I have had forever and the ribbon is from the Ribbon Boutique.
I used Jen’s sketch for the design. You can find all of her sketched at Deconstructing Jen. I met Jen several years ago when we were both on the Twilight Tuesday design team. She is a fabulous artist and I adore her sketches. I haven’t gotten to play with one for a very long time, but I am hoping to go back and catch up. They always help me do my best work!
